The Orchard, Ryde Square
Team2 were proud to be chosen as one of the four finalists and winners of the People’s Choice Award of the 2016 International Design Competition which attracted almost 150 entries from all over the world.
The brief was to provide a masterplan for a new mixed-use precinct incorporating a new Civic Centre and Council Chambers as well as numerous public spaces.
Sustainability formed the core agenda and integration within the context and local connectivity was central to the design proposal.
