Hunter Valley Gardens
Team2 Architects were appointed to design a new hospitality quarter amongst the vineyards in the Hunter Valley.
The design solution included 118 villas, grouped into four ‘village hubs’, and terraced into the existing contours of the landscape.
Swimming pool & leisure facilities are at the heart of the design with wedding & honeymoon suites afforded quieter corners of the site away from recreational tennis courts, function spaces and massage spa facilities to the east. This allows for ultimate flexibility in leasing, enabling weddings, business conferences and family holiday lets to co-exist.
A selection of natural materials including handmade brick, stone, timber and rammed earth were chosen for their textural qualities which mature with age and settle further over time into the landscape.
