Macarthur Sports & Community Club
After acquiring the site in 2016, Club Marconi appointed Team2 for the re-design of an existing DA on the site for a new sports club.
Part of a wider masterplan, Team2's proposals for the new club provided extensive food and beverage offerings including the provision of a huge north facing external dining terrace. A large sports bar and TAB was also introduced complete with external landscaped terraces. The high end VIP gaming area with indoor and outdoor gaming accommodated 150 machines and was an integral part of the new designs.
It was anticipated the new sports club would offer food and beverage services to the adjacent Narellan Sports Hub, containing hockey, netball rugby and athletics facilities as well as extensive car parking adjacent to the new club.
