Hammond Care Dementia Day Centre
Team2 were commissioned by Hammond Care to develop a prototype ‘social centre’ for day and overnight respite care for dementia residents.
The philosophy is that the social centre can be a modular building that can be literally ‘dropped' into any existing Hammond Care site to offer these services, in a number of different permutations dependent upon specific site and facility requirements.
Proposals included day care activity spaces, kitchen lounge areas and bathrooms. Overnight stay accommodation added residents suite accommodation in the configuration of a single module containing bedroom and ensuite.
