Guardian Childcare Centres

Team2 Architects were commissioned to undertake upgrades and refurbishment works to Guardian Child Centres located in Melbourne's Camberwell and Brunswick suburbs.

As well as the required upgrades for compliance with new planning and building legislation, the opportunity for general refurbishment work was grasped. New learning areas with amenities were upgraded with required joinery and storage requirements and a commercial kitchen installed to enhance the whole day care experience. Sites entrances and parking layouts were re-aligned with landscape upgrades to improve flow. DDA walkways and ramps replaced steps and improved access throughout.
