Waverley Private Hospital Expansion
The Waverley Private Hospital project included 2 new Operating Theatres, Pre-op and Admissions, Consulting Suites, Recovery Stages 1 and 2 and a new-build 40-Bed IPU.
This highly complex expansion and refurbishment required a total of 8 stages, to not only facilitate construction but, to provide a complying clinical environment throughout the construction process. During the early phases, Team 2 devised the staging in conjunction with the hospital and lead contractor, with every stage reviewed in isolation to ensure the required components needed for the AHFG standards were met.
Team 2 was engaged from early master planning and concept design, through to delivery and handover.
