Mitcham Private Hospital
Team2 was engaged by Ramsay Healthcare for the design and delivery of Mitcham Private Hospital. The project included a new operating theatre, a refurbished surgical unit, recovery stages 1 and 2, a departure lounge, a 21-bed mental health unit, and new patient facilities, including a gym, dining areas, and group rooms.
The works included both new-build expansion and internal refurbishment on a tight inner-city site. Refurbishment took place in a live environment, with surgical operations continuing throughout the construction phase. Modular procurement was investigated and implemented for the expansion works to minimise site disruption.
