Bradfield Inn Competition

Building on our extensive Food and Beverage portfolio, Team2 was invited to participate in a limited design competition for the new Community Gateway Hotel at Bradfield, positioned adjacent to the Western Sydney International Airport.

The 2,000sqm brief incorporated a pub, sports bar, flexible function spaces, café, and family garden, with additional capacity to accommodate airport layover services and bus drop-off for transit passengers.
Our proposal responded to the emerging aerotropolis context with a highly permeable building form that engages directly with the new public park and future metro station. Conceived as a civic landmark, the hotel balances strong community presence with operational efficiency, delivering a flexible venue capable of 24-hour activation as the Bradfield precinct continues to evolve.
