Located in the heart of Wickham, Newcastle, Bowline is a landmark residential-led mixed-use development that sets a new benchmark for the area.
Appointed by developer Multipart, Team2 was engaged to refine the original concept design by PBD Architects. This involved a series of strategic modifications to the existing development consent, including new Development Applications and S4.55 amendments. Team2 has led the design development, documentation, and on-site delivery phases of the project.
The development features a 3-level basement for car parking, storage, and services; a 4-storey podium with ground-floor retail and hospitality spaces and three levels of commercial offices; and a 13-storey residential tower above, comprising 118 apartments. These include a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units as well as expansive 4-bedroom skyhomes. At podium level, residents enjoy a beautifully landscaped communal garden on Level 4, offering exceptional outdoor amenity and panoramic views over the Hunter River.
As one of the first projects approved under the new Wickham masterplan, Bowline’s distinctive curved facades and thoughtful urban integration make it a standout addition to the evolving Wickham skyline.
