S4.55 approval for the re-design of a residential development in Lakemba, Sydney.
Team2 Architects are delighted to have obtained S4.55 approval from the City of Canterbury Council for the re-design of a residential development in Lakemba, Sydney.
The 144 apartments, for our long-term clients Eloura Holdings, are split across three separate pavilions each carefully designed to have their own identity within the overall development.
The principal material used for the buildings is brick, a combination of three different tones is employed to give articulation and contrast to the new facades. A rich complimentary palette of cementitious cladding, white rendered feature bands and charcoal coloured window frames, louvres and balustrades all add depth and visual interest to the development.
Construction is planned to commence in early 2024.
