Prince of Wales Maternity Ward
Healthscope appointed Team2 to refurbish the existing Prince of Wales Private Hospital Maternity Ward.
The design brief included a complete renovation of 32 post natal ward bedrooms and ensuites, corridors, staff areas, and shared facilities. In addition, the scope called for the refurbishment of the Level 6 foyer and Delivery Suite hallways. The brief was to update the existing drab and tired Maternity ward into a modern luxurious and welcoming space with a five star hotel look and feel. The clever design ensured the medical requirements and functionality of the space were not jeopardised.
All ward upgrades were conducted within a live hospital environment, utilising a multi-staged approach to maintain patient safety and infection control.
