Liverpool Private Hospital
Team2 was engaged in early 2020 to plan and design a private healthcare facility in Sydney's Western suburbs.
The proposed facility, covering 23,000m2 over 10 storeys includes retail spaces, patient rooms, surgery departments, and oncology departments. Team2 worked closely with urban designers and planners to ensure the building complemented the surrounding area whilst meeting the highest sustainable design standards. Functionality was also a key consideration, with the basement housing loading docks and back-of-house areas, freeing up the ground floor for retail and end-of-trip facilities. Team2 collaborated with consultants, clients, and project management in overcoming challenges such as building height encroachment, to achieve a mutually beneficial resolution.
