The proposed solution was a combination of a perforated geometric screen combined with enhanced landscaping including the use of mature trees.
The proposed solution was a combination of a perforated geometric screen combined with enhanced landscaping including the use of mature trees.
The screen is 4.5m high and divided into two segments of unequal lengths that are located at different heights providing optimum screening for tenants located within the first floor offices in the business park.
The origami inspired form creates visual interest and defines the boundary of the site and generally enhances the area, the perforated metal and colour palette reflect the industrial nature of its location and give the screen minimal reflections and very low maintenance requirements.
