Exciting Milestone!

Team2 is thrilled to announce the completion of architectural services for EVT, bringing to life three incredible cinematic destinations: 4DX at Castle Hill NSW plus Innaloo WA, and IMAX at Pacific Fair QLD. 

 

Engagement included stages from Conceptual Design through to Construction and Site Services. Responsibilities and tasks involved coordination of various specialist services, such as; a far larger screen with dedicated structure, new state-of-the-art porthole accompanying the new projector, as well as platform designs for the new luxury recliners that required in depth sight line studies.

 

Team2 designed and coordinated all work in a 3D environment which included using Revit for modelling, and Enscape for walking through the model live during coordination sessions. Sight line studies were critical to ensure the existing curved platform structure could deliver uninterrupted views for every chair as well as avoided laser exclusion zones set out by equipment manufacturers’ requirements.
