The redevelopment of this residential site utilised timber frame technology on a masonry base.
A mix of single and two storey dwellings were developed with one to three bedrooms. Living spaces were, wherever possible, accommodated at a raised level to take in the stunning sea views.
The gable fronted design to the terrace picks up on the local vernacular whist allowing an additional floor of accommodation to be located in the roof space.
A carefully selected traditional palette of materials was specified throughout, including galvanised steel rainwater goods, natural slate roofs, rendered walls and naturally weathered western red cedar cladding giving a beautiful external finish to the residences.
