Manor House, Devon, UK

2011

CLIENT: PRIVATE CLIENT
CONTRACTOR: -

The refurbishment of this grade II heritage listed manor house dating from the 15th century created a number of challenges.

Over the years the property had fallen into disrepair and needed significant work to restore it to a glorious family home.

The restoration used traditional materials and construction techniques, including work to natural state roofs and oak roof trusses and rafters, cast iron rainwater goods, oak doors and leaded windows, lime plaster, lime mortar and stone walling, slate flagstone floors and huge granite fireplaces.
