21/4/23 Final Works Masterplan on the Goulburn Base Hospital
Team2 were engaged back in 2020 to formulate the Final Works Masterplan on the Goulburn Base Hospital site; and in conjunction with these works, to establish the preferred location for the new Clinical Training Facility – a joint venture between the LHD, Health Infrastructure, and Australian National University (ANU).
The new facility contains teaching, simulation, administrative and community facilities, and has a transparency to illustrate the diverse range of activities which take place within. Located opposite a public school, it has been conceived to encourage the students to follow careers in academia and medicine. A new public space has been created at the entry, featuring a public walkway which was designed in collaboration with local Indigenous artists.
We are working with DONNELLEY CONSTRUCTIONS PTY LTD to deliver this fantastic project, and once again, we celebrate our long-term relationship with Health Infrastructure and South West NSW Local Health District, and our ongoing collaboration with Brett Sherson.
